I will be graduating in May and pursing employment in an acute inpatient psychiatric crisis stabilization setting. Clinical Experience
Graduate Internship                                                                             August 2013- May 2014
Acute Psychiatric Crisis Stabilization Unit
Providing therapy services to an inpatient clinical population experiencing symptoms requiring crisis stabilization. Clinical activities included providing group and individual therapy to voluntary and involuntary patients experiencing depression, suicidal ideation, symptoms of bipolar disorder and chemical dependency, among others. Additional services provided to clients included case management services and family therapy.

Graduate Practicum

DISC Village, Juvenile Outpatient Services, Tallahassee, Florida
Practicum experience at DISC Village involved  providing counseling and other agency related services to substance using youth  involved in the legal system. Main involvement in agency activities included individual counseling, co-facilitation of chemical education group therapy, contacting clients to schedule intakes and assessments, report writing, billing and case documentation.

Practicum experience at the Human Services Center entailed supervised individual counseling sessions with members of the community seeking counseling for a variety of psychological difficulties.

Sunrise of Pasco County, Inc., Domestic and Sexual Violence Center, Dade City, Florida
Internship experiences encompassed providing services to women and children suffering from emotional and physical abuse. Main involvement in agency activities included participation in the legal department of the center helping victims file Domestic Violence Injunctions, as well as advocating for victims during court proceedings. In addition, activities included facilitating support groups for preschool, elementary and middle school age children who were victims of domestic violence.
